Welcome to On Purpose: 2022 WSCADV Conference! We are so glad you’re here. After three years, we’re coming together in person in the spirit of collective healing, celebrating community, and renewed commitment to a world free from violence. WSCADV’s annual conference is a time for advocates from all over Washington to come together to learn, share, and connect. We can’t wait to see you!
Want to know more about what to expect at our event? Check out the 2022 conference guide! We’re doing everything we can to keep each other safe, but if you do start feeling sick, or you test positive for Covid-19 during or after the conference, please let us know and review the current quarantine and isolation guidelines.
Survivors are safest when they have the freedom to write their own futures. Reproductive and bodily freedom have always been central to our movements against domestic violence. This year’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade erodes the protections that survivors need to find safety and freedom. But together, we will continue our work to create a world where all people can live and love freely, without fear.
This workshop will offer participants grounding in a reproductive justice framework as an approach for disrupting gender-based violence, identify strategies for supporting reproductive justice, healthcare, and abortion access with survivors, and explore effective messaging for talking about reproductive rights and abortion with our communities, boards, and supporters.
